Helen Gutierrez, MSc is a climate activist based in Costa Rica with La Ruta del Clima and climate justice is a central pillar of all her work. Her areas of expertise include: planning for climate adaptation (including integrating a gender analysis into climate planning), vulnerability and adaptation research, as well as participatory action research. She holds a Master of Science degree in Natural Resources and Environment, with a specialization in Environmental Justice, from the University of Michigan.
